Start with the right item setup
Match the product to the correct category and fill in every attribute the setup asks for. Missing attributes are a common reason listings are harder to find.
Titles that are clear, not stuffed
Write the title the way a shopper would describe the item: brand, product type and the key features that separate it from similar products. Avoid repeating keywords or adding claims you cannot support.
Images that answer questions
- A clean main image that follows the marketplace image rules.
- Additional images showing size, use, packaging and detail.
- Text on images only where the rules allow it, and only if it is true.
- Consistent colour and lighting across variants.
Descriptions and key features
Use short key feature lines for the facts a shopper scans for, and a longer description for context. Keep claims specific and honest. If a feature needs a certification, do not mention it unless you can prove it.
A quick quality review routine
- Open the listing as a shopper would, on a phone and on a computer.
- Check that every variant has its own correct images and details.
- Compare against two strong competing listings and note content you are missing.
- Fix gaps, then recheck in a few weeks.
How we can help
We audit and improve Walmart listings and keep them consistent with your other channels. We do not promise a specific ranking.
